Furthermore, the delegate of the Cádiz Free Trade Zone has highlighted “the position of Cádiz as a reference in the Blue Economy. It is important to note that they require our presence at national and international events related to innovation and the blue sector and ask us to explain our project as an example of good practice.”

Fran González explained the projects that the Cádiz Free Trade Zone is developing in the field of blue innovation and how, after the success of the Blue Economy incubator Incubazul, it is launching ZF Blue Core, a 4.0 incubator that will complement the program of acceleration and the path taken with Incubazul.

For his part, the coordinator of the incubator participated yesterday in the round table “Incubators and Venture Studios: catalysts for the success of Free Zones”, in which he presented the success model of the incubator of the Free Zone of Cádiz and its acceleration program through which 100 startups have already passed, a third of which are billing. AZFA, founded in 1997, brings together more than 700 free zones and 10,700 companies from 25 countries, representing a business network that generates around 1,180,000 direct jobs. The association's main objective is to promote commercial, economic and cultural exchange among its members.

Cádiz, with a historic role in international trade and with Latin America, thus reinforces its role in the network of free zones, remembering its hosting role in the VI Latin American Conference of Free Zones in 2002, an event that was held outside of America for the first time. .
