The Free Trade Zone hosts an innovative project for the optimization of renewable energies

The engineering company Rospa, which already has facilities in El Puerto de Santa María, will occupy 2,120 m2 in Altadis, which represents the continuation of the commercialization of the former land of the tobacco company.

 The firm wants to dedicate the plant to the manufacture of Solar Box, a novel element of photovoltaic generation; will create 20 jobs and begin operations within three months

The State delegate, Fran González, points out that the incorporation of this new company confirms that Zona Franca is an attractive pole for innovative and technological projects.

The company Componentes y Servicios Rospa, dedicated to the manufacture of elements and structures for renewable energy, will be installed in a 2,120 m2 warehouse in the tax area of ​​the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, in the area formerly occupied by the Altadis tobacco company and to which A commercial push is being given to place it at the same level as the rest of the venue, whose occupancy is around 100%.

            Rospa, which develops highly innovative projects and is an expert in technology-based engineering, wants to use the new plant for the manufacture of an element called Solar Box, a product for the optimization of the generation and treatment of photovoltaic energy. This new incorporation not only contributes to the recovery of productive spaces in the Fiscal Area but also continues the line of attracting innovation and new technology companies from the Free Zone within its model of generating a sustainable and responsible industry and economy.

            The company, which already has facilities in the province, specifically in the Las Salinas Industrial Estate in El Puerto de Santa María, will create 20 jobs when starting its activity, which will be carried out within a period of three months once the corresponding adaptation works: rehabilitation of two loading docks, repair and painting of the façade, adjustment of doors and work on the electricity and water connections, all tasks that will be carried out by the Free Zone.

            The State delegate in the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, Fran González, has pointed out that this new addition to the Consortium's facilities confirms that "we are establishing ourselves as an engine of innovative development and we are attractive for the installation of companies of this type."

            González has expressed his satisfaction with the latest additions to the equipment of the Cádiz tax facility since the Rospa addition to the recent presentation carried out this week by Capgemini with its Intelligent Industry Lab, a highly innovative center located in the building Europe. “The installation of these companies strengthens our new industrial model, our commitment to innovation within the framework of sustainability and commitment to the environment,” he said.

            The Consortium is carrying out renovation and rehabilitation works on different facilities in the tax area to adapt them to the new industry 4.0 model and make them available to companies and operators interested in settling in the tax area, even for those who take advantage of customs and taxes and the bonuses inherent to the activity linked to foreign trade, as is the case of Rospa, which in addition to developing highly technological projects also operate in foreign markets.

            The projects carried out by the Rospa firm focus on innovative solutions to improve their production processes, with engineering services that make it possible to carry out these works with the highest quality and guarantees, using state-of-the-art systems and tools, based on highly technological.

            In addition to the engineering services themselves (equipment design, automation or design of intelligent control systems), the company also provides equipment repair and maintenance services that cover a wide variety of applications and sectors, as well as specific and specialized training. with tailored courses in Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Lubrication and Electricity/Electronics.

It must be remembered that in the Altadis area, actions have been carried out around the cross-shaped building, such as the expansion of the security facilities, the commissioning and legalization of the building's electrical installation, the filling and execution of the wall next to it. to the new access from the Elcano entrance. Also, other actions have continued aimed at valuing the spaces and warehouses located in Altadis for rental purposes. Work will soon be carried out to improve access control on that part, something that has already been done in the control of the main entrance to the fiscal precinct.
