Victoria Rodríguez announces that Cádiz will become a debate forum for Spanish free zones in March

At the traditional Christmas breakfast with the media, the delegate reviewed her six months at the head of the Consortium and reported on the 90th anniversary that will be celebrated in 2019.

The State delegate in the Free Zone, Victoria Rodríguez, announced this morning during the traditional Christmas breakfast with the media that Cádiz will become a debate forum for the Spanish free zones in the last week of March. This will be the central event of next year's celebration of the 90th anniversary of the Cádiz Free Zone and delegates from the other six free zones in Spain, as well as other authorities, have been invited to the Cadiz capital.

After welcoming and congratulating the journalists on the holidays, Victoria Rodríguez reviewed her six months at the head of the Consortium and thanked her technical team for the support provided and the effort since her arrival in office.

The delegate explained that the general demand is for the Free Zone to be the engine of development of the province and "we are focused on this, responding to what businesspeople require after studying and listening" to mayors, business associations, groups and, ultimately, the protagonists of the socioeconomic fabric of the province.

Victoria Rodríguez has highlighted the recent sale of the Tiro Janer industrial estate in San Fernando as a very important milestone and has once again thanked her team for the work carried out to make it possible. In addition, he has listed other important actions in these six months, such as the installation of new companies, a gym and a medical center in Carranza or a hemodialysis center in the Chiclana building, and the parking plan launched to alleviate parking problems in Cádiz, with the transfer of two plots in the outer industrial estate.

The delegate has stressed that it is essential to attract investors to the Free Zone, "we still have 290,000 m2 available in the province, we are going to strengthen the commercial department with a vocation for foreign trade. We must improve information about the Free Zone in the province and abroad. Free Zone has to be present."
