The State delegate in the Free Zone of Cádiz, Alfonso Pozuelo, received the mayor of San Roque, Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix, at the registered office of the Consortium yesterday.
The meeting has been framed in an institutional first meeting in which the mayor presented the new head of the Cadiz consortium the projects raised during the previous stage in the Free Zone: on the one hand, the extension of the free zone to the sector of the Logistics Activities Zone (ZAL) at the San Roque station; And on the other, the creation of a business center in the Diego Salinas building, today in disuse.
For his part, the delegate of Zona Franca said that he will study both projects and the possible ways through which they carry them out, although he stated that they will be conditioned to the institution continue to be an intermediate body in the management of European funds (Feder).
In this sense, Pozuelo was in favor of the fact that the free zone, once the viability and return of project investment, develop actions in the province aimed at strengthening business fabric, economic activity and, consequently, the creation of employment.
