The Chief of Staff of the Cádiz Free Trade Zone, Tania Barcelona, attended, representing the State delegate, Jorge Ramos, the event. Innovate from Diversity in which more than 30 companies from the province of Cádiz met on Thursday, in a meeting organized by the Red Cross in collaboration with the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Cádiz (AJE), and the support of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Cádiz (CEC) and Zona Franca.
In fact, the Consortium and the Red Cross discussed the possibility of starting a collaboration in which what was discussed during the day would be translated into practice, materializing the union between the business world and social content. And the day revolved around the fact that diversity among workers, within companies, enriches their productive model and favors innovation, while contributing to a more inclusive labor market.
The meeting, which was held in the Ma'arifa Building in the capital of Cadiz, aimed to serve as a space for learning, raising awareness and reflecting on diversity, as an enriching value within the business fabric, and equal opportunities in the world of work, according to the words of those responsible for the Red Cross.
The opening ceremony was led by the provincial coordinator of the Spanish Red Cross in Cádiz, Javier Gil, and the president of AJE Cádiz, Jesús Belgrano, who gave way to the conference by Meden Castillo, specialist in communication, leadership and business growth.
The event is part of the 'Alliances' project, of the Spanish Red Cross Employment Plan, and of the POISES Operational Program financed by the European Social Fund. The Spanish Red Cross Employment Plan volunteers carry out multiple actions to guide, train and accompany people who have greater difficulties when it comes to finding a job: from young people with little experience or qualifications, to women in social difficulty or long-term unemployed people and immigrants. Through direct intervention with them, and also by raising awareness in the environment, volunteers do their part to promote labor integration.
