Free Zone of Cádiz, present at the delivery of the “Gaditans of the Year 2015” awards by Onda Cero

The Chief of Staff, Tania Barcelona, ​​who excused the attendance of the delegate, Jorge Ramos, awarded the award in the Business category to Gadira Productos de Almadraba, located in the El Olivar industrial estate in Barbate.

One more year the Heracles building in the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz was the scene of the Onda Cero Gaditanos of the Year awards ceremony, which is now in its 21st edition and recognizes the work of personalities, companies and associations in the promotion, development and expansion of Cadiz.

The Chief of Staff of the Special State Delegate, Tania Barcelona, ​​who excused the attendance of the delegate, Jorge Ramos, was present this Thursday in the presidency of the event and presented the award in the business category to the company Gadira Productos de Almadraba, which is also installed in the El Olivar de Barbate industrial estate, developed by the Free Trade Zone. This company, with more than 30 years of experience, is dedicated to the marketing and export of wild almadraba bluefin tuna, mainly to Japan.

The director of Onda Cero in Cádiz, Eduardo García, who was also at the presidential table along with the mayor of Cádiz, José María González, opened the event and introduced each of the winners. The director of Onda Cero presented two of the awards: In the Social Work category, to the Association for social mediation EQUA, dedicated to the insertion of people with intellectual disabilities; and the Gaditano Honorable mention to Luis Miguel Torres Morera, from the Pain Clinic, head of the Anesthesia and Pain Treatment service at the Puerta del Mar Hospital in Cádiz and professor at the University (UCA).

For his part, the mayor, José María González, awarded the award in the People category to Cádiz dancer Eduardo Guerrero, who at only 33 years old is recognized nationally and internationally.
