The Consortium will contribute 25,000 euros for the celebration of various events of the event
The mayor of Cádiz, José María González and the special delegate of the State in the Free Zone, Jorge Ramos, signed a collaboration agreement yesterday to collaborate in the celebration of the Great Regatta that the city of Cádiz will host between July 28 and 31. This agreement agrees that the Consortium will contribute 25,000 euros for the celebration of different events during the sporting event, making it the official sponsor of the Tall Ship Races Cádiz 2016.
Jorge Ramos placed this signing of the agreement within the spirit of “loyalty and an example of collaboration between institutions in favor of the interests of the city.” “Zona Franca has responded quickly and quickly to the call of the City Council to participate in this great event because among our missions is to serve the interests of the people of Cádiz.”
For his part, the mayor of Cádiz, José María González, expressed his gratitude both to the Free Trade Zone Consortium in particular and to all the institutions and entities that are collaborating at a general level for their involvement in what "will be the most scientific, social and open regatta to citizens."
González recalled that this year's program contains activities for all audiences, including concerts, historical reenactments, parades, batucada, parades, tournaments and children's activities among other offers. “All this, in a theme park that in previous editions it is estimated that a million people visited.”
The collaboration of Zona Franca also extends to participation in the formal events within the official program and the installation of an information point in the business area to serve those interested in some specific equipment or project launched by the institution and will promote, where appropriate, the dissemination of the Regatta in its area of action.
