The companies Marítima del Mediterráneo and Universal Global Logistics, integrated into the Marmedsa Noatum Maritime Group, settle in the Nexus Business Center of the Free Zone in Algeciras, once they have been awarded two 129 m modules2 y 144 m2 respectively on the second floor of the building.
With the installation of the Marmedsa Group, the occupancy of the Nexus building now exceeds 1,000 m2 marketed of the 3,507 m2 leasable therein. The companies, which cover various sectors such as Maritime Transport, Ship Agent, Insurance, Quality Control and Certification, Advertising and Marketing, Transport and Security, occupy different modules that adapt to their needs and range between 23 m2 and the 145 m2.
Marmedsa Noatum Maritime is a leading international company in maritime and logistics services thanks to its more than 50 years of experience since Marítima del Mediterráneo was created in 1963 as a maritime agency.
Currently, it forms a group with more than 1,000 professionals and diversified in companies that cover all the needs of its clients in the different areas of maritime transport and logistics.
From the Nexus building, Marítima del Mediterráneo will provide intermediation services in maritime and air transport; while Universal Global Logistics is a customs agent and freight forwarder.
The modern and strategically located offices of the Nexus Business Center are generating the interest of the business community in the Campo de Gibraltar region, a fact that is confirmed by the Commercial Department of the Free Trade Zone, which receives almost daily a good number of requests for information from companies interested in any of the spaces available in the Nexus.
The implementation of this facility has involved an investment of 6.5 million euros – co-financed by funds requested in the Framework of the FEDER Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013 –, forming an important offer of spaces for entrepreneurs and liberal professionals.
