Zona Franca publishes the call to apply for a space on the former Altadis lands

The Consortium announces today in the BOE, the media and the website itself the public offer of facilities in what will be the expansion of the tax precinct in the capital

The deadline will be open until 2:00 p.m. next Tuesday, December 15

The projects presented will be evaluated taking into account criteria of job creation and investment volume, among others.

The Free Trade Zone of Cádiz has published today in the Official State Gazette, in the media and on the Consortium's own website the Public Offer for the commercialization of the land facilities that the Free Trade Zone acquired from the tobacco company Altadis last June.

The facilities included in the call, whose deadline ends at 2:00 p.m. next Tuesday, December 15, will be integrated into the expansion of the Tax Precinct of the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, which in the capital will go from having an area of 330,000 m2 to 480,000 m2, after the imminent granting of provisional approval by Customs of the status of tax precinct with the consequent application of customs and tax advantages.

Once the deadline for receiving offers has ended, on December 16 they will be opened and evaluated taking into account the criteria included in the Call Rules.

These criteria establish that the creation of direct and indirect employment will be prioritized first, as well as the offers that are most economically advantageous for the Free Zone. Another important piece of information for the valuation will be the investment volume and the deadlines for starting the activity.

The Cádiz Consortium has already maintained contacts with companies interested in locating on these lands, with a surface area of 150,000 m2, and which now have free rein to officially opt for these spaces.

Through this Public Offer and its result, the Consortium hopes to complete its expansion in Cádiz with the installation of a good number of companies that generate economic activity and several hundred jobs in the city. Zona Franca hopes in a first stage to cover at least 50% of the surface that is added to the current tax area.
