The State delegate in the Cádiz Free Zone, Jorge Ramos, will attend the Annual Meeting of Spanish Free Zones next Thursday and Friday in Tenerife, which is organized by the Tenerife Free Zone, designated last year during the meeting held in Cádiz.
Jorge Ramos will present a presentation in the Tenerife capital in which he will address the topic of the strong growth experienced in the last three years, which has led him to have an important network of business centers throughout the province, with more than 60,000 m2 of facilities, and to take the first steps of the ambitious project to enlarge and expand the tax area, which will go from 300,000 to 1,300,000 m2.
In the presentation, the delegate of the Cádiz Free Trade Zone will explain the work carried out during this time so that the Cádiz Institution becomes a determining factor in the economic and business development of the province of Cádiz.
The five State delegates from each of the free zones will be present at the meeting of Spanish Free Zones. In addition to Jorge Ramos, Jordi Cornet, from Barcelona, will participate; Teresa Pedrosa, from Vigo; the host, Gustavo González, from Tenerife; and Antonio Vera, from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. In addition, an expert from the General Directorate of Customs will participate.
This week's meeting in Tenerife is the result of the collaboration agreement signed last year in Cádiz by the free zones of Cádiz, Barcelona, Vigo, Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, an agreement that has marked a before and after in the coordination of efforts and which aims to enhance cooperation and exchange of initiatives and programs between institutions that, geographically separated, have the same common goal: Economic and business of its different areas of influence, also offering within its management policy a diverse range of services to companies located in its facilities.
