In order to speed up the procedures, the State delegate asked the City Council on September 17 for authorization for the work, which will begin in the coming days

The study of the characteristics of the soil will allow us to propose the competition of ideas for the drafting of the project

The Cádiz Free Trade Zone has awarded the work to carry out the geotechnical study and topographic survey of the plot on which the Cádiz Consortium will build the La Línea Business Center.

This work will allow Zona Franca to know the characteristics of the soil on which it is going to work and the calculation of the foundation that is going to be built and, in this way, it will proceed to propose the competition of ideas for the drafting of the project.

In a further step to expedite the procedures that allow the project to be developed, the State delegate in the Free Trade Zone, Jorge Ramos, requested authorization from the La Línea City Council on September 17 to be able to undertake these works, which will begin in the coming days.

The works, which have a completion period of one month, will consist of six continuous dynamic penetration tests and two rotating surveys up to 25 meters deep on the plot of about 4,000 m2 located between Fernando Ramos Argüelles, Focona, Avenida de Europa and Plaza de España streets.

The construction project of the Business Center is the result of the agreement signed at the end of August between the State delegate, Jorge Ramos, and the first mayor of Liná, Juan Franco. The agreement also includes the commitment of both administrations to search for suitable land on which the Tax Precinct will be implemented, within the large expansion and expansion project that the Consortium has underway.

The La Línea Business Center will be an important facility for the municipality, with the same quality characteristics and services as those that the Free Zone has spread throughout the province, promoting entrepreneurial activity and offering quality facilities to the business community in the area.

The building will have a surface area of between 5,000 and 6,000 square meters, of which 40% will be allocated to entrepreneurs under very advantageous conditions, facilities that have received immediate response from the business community in other municipalities such as Cádiz, Algeciras, Arcos or Vejer, where the Free Trade Zone has facilities of this type. The other 60% of the business center will be dedicated to established companies and liberal professionals.
