The Consortium makes visible the acquisition of the land that will be incorporated into its Fiscal Precinct in Cádiz
A picture is worth a thousand words. The Free Trade Zone of Cádiz has completed the acquisition of the Altadis land carried out last June with the incorporation of its corporate image in the facilities of the former tobacco company.
Thus, Zona Franca already appears as the owner of these lands through which it will expand its Tax Precinct, currently almost full, going from 330,000 m2 to an area of 480,000 m2. In fact, the Consortium has already formally requested and has met with the General Directorate of Customs for the inclusion of the land in said facility.
The land of the former tobacco factory occupies an area of 105,000 m2, to which must be added the land owned by the Free Trade Zone itself in that area and which was leased to Altadis, with a total of 39,000 m2, and the 5,000 m2 that are owned by the Port Authority of the Bay of Cádiz and with whom an agreement for its concession will be signed.
With all this, the Free Zone Tax Precinct in the capital of Cadiz is going to become an important industrial focus and, in fact, there are already companies interested in locating there.
The expansion of the Tax Precinct of the Free Zone in the capital represents an important milestone within the framework of the entire expansion project and extension to new tax precincts in other municipalities of the province, since the city of Cádiz continues to be the head and epicenter of this ambitious project.
