In addition, the Consortium is present with a stand in this second edition, which is organized by FAEC-Evolucionapp and which deals with the use of ICT to enhance competitiveness in the construction sector.
Ramos has highlighted the expansion and expansion of the Free Trade Zone and its network of Business Centers in the province as lines of work that also support the construction sector, key to the economic growth of Cádiz.
Zona Franca and the Provincial Federation of Construction Business Groups of Cádiz (FAEC) signed a collaboration agreement in June to disseminate the advantages, services and facilities of the Consortium
The State delegate in the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, Jorge Ramos, participated this morning at the Cádiz Congress Palace in the opening ceremony of the Constructic2015 Conference, which is titled “Building the future through New Technologies” and which aims to delve into the use of ICT to enhance competitiveness in the Construction sector through presentations and an area of stands.
Along with the delegate, Emilio Corbacho, president of FAEC and vice president of Fadeco-Contratistas, opened the day; Francisco Carmona, president of the regional Fadeco-Contratistas; Enrique Corral, general director of the Construction Labor Foundation; Javier Sánchez, president of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Cádiz (CEC) and vice president of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Andalusia (CEA); and Mario Rondán, CEO of Evolucionapp.
During his speech, Ramos thanked the organizers for carrying out this type of meeting based on the conviction that the Construction sector is a determining factor in the GDP and therefore in the economic growth of the province of Cádiz.
In this sense, it has shown all its support from an Institution that is “an ally”, insofar as it is immersed in two lines of work that intensify the work of companies in the sector: on the one hand, the expansion and expansion to seven tax precincts in the province, which will increase from 300,000 to 1,300,000 m2 and that will open new productive spaces to attract investors and launch new projects; and on the other, the development of the largest network of business centers in Andalusia, with the construction and opening this year of new company buildings in Cádiz, Jerez, Algeciras, Chiclana, Arcos or Vejer, intelligent properties equipped with the latest technologies at the service of entrepreneurs and liberal professionals.
Likewise, Zona Franca is present at the Conference with its own stand in the “Demonstrative Spaces” area in which part of the Consortium's Commercial team presents to all interested parties the advantages and services offered by the Institution, especially informing about the aforementioned new company buildings and business centers that are being developed throughout the province, seeking maximum versatility, which allows meeting the needs of young businessmen and entrepreneurs in each municipality, who can start their activities with all the advantages. in a professional work environment and at very competitive prices, reactivating and consolidating the business fabric of said municipality.
It is worth remembering that the participation of Zona Franca in this Conference is due to the agreement signed on June 24 by Jorge Ramos and Emilio Corbacho by which the association of construction companies undertook to disseminate the advantages, services and facilities of the Cádiz Institution in the different forums in which it participates.
In addition, Zona Franca, through this agreement, is also integrated into the “Construtic Project”, a forum on new technologies for the construction sector that aims to provide construction companies in Cádiz with an approach to new technologies as a tool for the competitiveness, productivity and service capacity of companies in the sector.
Both forums, Proyecto Constructic and Construtic 2015, represent a good opportunity for the Free Zone to disseminate its facilities and services among potential clients, since the FAEC brings together two associations each related to the two main lines of activity of the sector, construction and promotion. Thus, on the one hand, the Provincial Association of Construction and Public Works Companies (APECOP) which, within the FAEC, represents and defends the general interests of the builders of Cádiz, and on the other, the Association of Real Estate Developers of Cádiz (ASPRICA) with identical objectives, in this case for the developers of Cádiz.
