El delegado del Estado en la Zona Franca de Cádiz, Jorge Ramos, y el alcalde de Los Barrios, Jorge Romero, acompañados por el presidente de la Cámara de Comercio del Campo de Gibraltar, Carlos Fenoy, han puesto la primera piedra del vivero de empresas que el Consorcio construye en el Parque Empresarial y Tecnológico Marismas de Palmones, en Los Barrios, proyecto que es fruto del convenio de colaboración firmado con la Cámara de Comercio del Campo de Gibraltar y la Fundación Incyde.
Los responsables de Zona Franca, Ayuntamiento y Cámara de Comercio mostraron su satisfacción ante un proyecto que nace gracias a la colaboración entre instituciones y destinado a fortalecer el tejido emprendedor de la Comarca, con lo que ello conlleva en el fomento de la creación de nuevas empresas y nuevos puestos de trabajo.
El acto, durante el cual se firmó también el acta de replanteo de la obra, contó con la intervención del presidente de la Cámara de Comercio del Campo de Gibraltar, que destacó que “hemos sido capaces de propiciar -en un ejemplo de colaboración institucional que permitidme elogie- la cofinanciación de un ochenta por ciento a través de FEDER de los dos millones de euros de inversión prevista para la construcción de este vivero compuesto por 14 naves industriales en el municipio de Los Barrios”.

The technical director of Zona Franca explained the details of this project, which is built on a 3,795 m2 plot located in front of the Quirón Hospital of the Business Park owned by Zona Franca. A commission, made up of these three entities, will be in charge of selecting the applicants who wish to settle in the business incubator. This selection will be made in accordance with the guidelines set by the Feder Operational program through the instructions of the Incyde Foundation.
