The warehouses of the “Villa de Rota” Industrial Estate, recently inaugurated, have been widely accepted and 50% are already marketed.
The State delegate in the Free Trade Zone, Jorge Ramos, and the president of the CEEI Bahía de Cádiz, Miguel Urraca, will sign in the coming days an agreement by which the Foundation will install a business incubator in one of the warehouses that the Free Trade Zone, in collaboration with the Rota City Council, has built in the “Villa de Rota” Industrial Estate.
The CEEI Bahía de Cádiz will be installed in warehouse 28, which has an area of 586 m2, where a business center/incubator will be located to provide accommodation for companies and entrepreneurs and offer other services and use of complementary infrastructure to accommodation, such as meeting rooms, training classrooms, as well as implement the services of the CEEI Foundation catalog in the town of Rota.
To this end, the Free Trade Zone will adapt the warehouse to the needs and characteristics that are necessary for that use, an adaptation work that will be co-financed with FEDER funds.
With this agreement, the Free Zone follows the line of work of collaboration between institutions and entities that promote economic and business activity and therefore the creation of employment, even more so taking into account that the founding purposes of CEEI coincide with those of the Consortium in which they were born for economic development and employment promotion, as well as the provision of precise services for the constitution and establishment of business projects in order to boost the socio-economic fabric in the area. generating wealth and employment.
The “Villa de Rota” Industrial Estate” which the Free Trade Zone has carried out in collaboration with the City Council and the only industrial land in the town, was inaugurated at the end of March and was an enclave highly in demand by the business sector.
The 28 warehouses have been put on the market with very competitive prices, below market prices, and have been widely accepted and, in fact, 50% of the facilities are already on the market.
The work carried out consisted of the construction of a set of nest ships made up of four modules with similar characteristics that are distributed symmetrically on the plot. Each module is made up of seven naves, one larger in the corner (586 m2) and six intermediate ones (206 m2), all of them composed of a ground floor and a mezzanine. The warehouses, all built to the best quality, are built on a plot of 5,350 m2 and the total constructed area is 7,407.83 m².
