The Free Trade Zone of Cádiz has presented for processing at the San Fernando City Council the Special Plan for the area of the old Janer Shooting Range, a fundamental step for the development of the Business-Industrial Park. The Consortium has been working intensely and with maximum speed for months to carry out the previous actions necessary for the construction of the new park.
The project will be developed on a plot of 65,686 m² and, having acquired the Free Zone a few weeks ago and the adjacent property, it is the sole owner of the action, with the Special Plan presented today being an important milestone for the development of the Business-Industrial Park.
In this sense, the Consortium purchased two properties on the Bateria de la Ardila highway, attached to the plot acquired by Zona Franca from the Ministry of Defense, and which, due to their strategic location, complete the ownership of the land that will house the city's new business-industrial park.
The Business-Industrial Park will have a constructed area of more than 65,000 square meters, although Zona Franca has already announced that it will not exhaust this volume of buildable space, of which 4,800 will be for services of public and social interest, almost 12,000 for tertiary services, 16,300 for large commercial areas, more than 28,000 for tertiary use, advanced services and parking and 8,709 for industrial use.
An area of 7,750 m will also be reserved² for green areas, 3,661 for basic infrastructure and a surface parking lot with more than 400 spaces is contemplated.
Since the Free Zone, the former Janer Shot Polygon bought the Ministry of Defense on March 6, has worked intensely to expedite the procedures and proceed to demolition, which will mean a fundamental step to materialize the future business-industrial park, a Very necessary project for the promotion and development of the economic activity of the city of San Fernando and the province of Cádiz.
