On June 25, the Cádiz Free Trade Zone awarded architect Manuel Quijano Vallejo the execution project for the construction of the new building in Vejer de la Frontera, intended for the Business and Municipal Services Center, for an amount of 39,700 euros (VAT not included).
The execution period is 30 days from the formalization of the contract and the contracting is financed by European Funds, within the framework of the FEDER Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013.
The tender for this project was published in the Official State Gazette in February. Previously, the State delegate, Jorge Ramos, presented to the mayor of Vejer, José Ortiz, the preliminary project of the Building for the Business Center and Municipal Services in that municipality, which will have a constructed area of 1,950 square meters.
The municipal plot on which action will be taken has an area of approximately 3,000 square meters and a Business Center with 15 offices, classrooms for different uses and a coworking room is expected to be located on it. The Hospitality School and Municipal Services will occupy a total of 660 square meters and 200 square meters will be used for commercial premises. In addition to this action, the construction of paddle tennis courts and a gym will be carried out in parallel.
Jorge Ramos and José Ortiz signed a collaboration agreement in August of last year to carry out the construction of this Building, in the line of work initiated by the delegate of the Free Trade Zone that gives priority to the creation of new spaces in the province for the implementation of new companies and support for entrepreneurs.
The construction of this new Business Center in Vejer will be added to other buildings of this type that the Free Trade Zone has operating throughout the province and to those that will be developed in the coming months in other municipalities.
