The State delegate in the Free Trade Zone, Jorge Ramos, and the president of the CEEI Bahía de Cádiz, Miguel Urraca, ratified the collaboration agreement between both entities by signing an extension of the existing agreement that offers the CEEI the possibility of expanding the facilities it already has in the Office Building of the Levante Business Park of the Free Trade Zone. These offices host entrepreneurial projects belonging to the Business Angels Network.
Jorge Ramos, who was accompanied by the general director of the Consortium, Félix Taboada, highlighted the importance of the ratified agreement and that confirms the work begun in this new stage, with a firm commitment to the business fabric and above all the constant support for young entrepreneurs . The Cádiz Free Zone works along these lines, promoting and promoting the creation or recovery of industrial spaces, business centers and all those facilities that facilitate the establishment of companies and, therefore, the creation and stability of employment.
For his part, Miguel Urraca was accompanied by the managing director of the CEEI, Miguel Sánchez-Cossío. Both expressed their “gratitude for the collaboration and willingness shown by both the Cádiz Free Trade Zone Consortium and the Cádiz City Council through the IFEF to consolidate the presence of CEEI Bahía de Cádiz in the city.” They also stated that "with this line of collaboration that began two years ago, CEEI Bahía de Cádiz intends to establish the capital in the business projects that are created from the Business Angels Network of Cádiz."
The modules that the CEEI Bahía de Cádiz currently has in the Levante Business Park of the Free Zone host the facilities of the Business Angels Network, which accommodate entrepreneurial projects. The purpose of the Network is to bring together investors whose common goal is to participate in new business projects and entrepreneurs who want to launch their own business project, as well as companies that want to invest in their own growth and need private financing for their development.
With today's expansion of facilities, the CEEI Bahía de Cádiz now has five office modules that add up to a total of nearly 200 m². Under the agreement, the Free Trade Zone also offers CEEI the possibility of a preferential purchase option to continue expanding the facilities.
