The State delegate in the Free Zone of Cádiz, Jorge Ramos, and the mayor of Chiclana, Ernesto Marín, have presented at a press conference the project of the new business center that the Consortium is going to carry out in the town. The first mayor welcomed the representatives of the Cádiz Institution and was grateful for having it as an ally.
Jorge Ramos highlighted the importance of the project, explaining that “for there to be employment there must be companies and for this there must be entrepreneurs.” The actions and projects that promote business and entrepreneurial activity will be the tasks to be fulfilled by the Free Trade Zone in Chiclana with the launch of this new Business Center.
In this sense, the delegate explained that the new building, which will be the product of a concept of reconversion of hitherto underused spaces, responds to a vocation of the Free Trade Zone to create a network of centers that will have continuity in Jerez and Algeciras.
Jorge Ramos stated that “we owe ourselves to all institutions, social agents and economic agents and we go where we are asked.”” and added that “in record time the magnificent management team of the Free Zone
has done its homework and we have authorization from the Executive Committee to carry out the project with an investment of 5.5 million euros”, 70% of which comes from the Feder Funds.
For his part, the general director of the Free Trade Zone, Félix Taboada, outlined the details of the project and described the Business Centers as business hotels, in which users have fully finished office modules, equipped with telephone, computer , shared switchboard, etc., so that “the employer only has to worry about starting to work.”
The building, about 3,500 m², will also have a training room and assembly hall and will also have the possibility of opting for shared modules for 50 €/mes.
The Consortium hopes that the activity of the Business Center, which is in the administrative phase and adaptation works will soon be undertaken, could begin in the first half of 2013.
