The Free Trade Zone Consortium celebrates the first Plenary Session with Jorge Ramos as State delegate

The Cádiz Free Zone Consortium held an Ordinary Plenary Session this morning at its Headquarters under the Presidency of the mayor of the city, which was the first for Jorge Ramos as Special Delegate of the State. In this way, the Plenary Session has been definitively constituted with the inauguration of Javier Sánchez Rojas and Antonio Ortiz Espinosa as members of the State. Likewise, it has been agreed that Ignacio Martínez Casas and Antonio Ortiz Espinosa will be the member representatives of the State in the Executive Committee.

Within the agenda, the proposal to intensify the period of sessions of the Government bodies has stood out and in this sense the delegate of the Free Zone has proposed that the Plenary Session meet at least bimonthly. –which would be celebrated at least six times a year– and that the Executive Committee be held monthly –at least twelve sessions a year–. This frequency would be greater than that carried out in previous years, for example, in 2011 only one Plenary Session and eight Executive Committees were held.

In another order of things, with the ratification of point seven, the rates for the Interior Campus for 2012-2013 have been approved, which are as follows:
•    Offices. There is a reduction in the cost of the total cut of between 12% and 23% depending on the surface area due to the effect of the new rates and the reduction of Common Expenses.

•    Warehouses and Plots: Maximum rates for warehouses and plots are reduced by more than 20%.

•    Complementary services. Creation of a Waste Transfer Space free of charge for the clients of the Campus.

•    Parking included through the delivery of daytime passes in the High Rise Parking for every 50 meters of contracted offices.

•    Common expenses: Average reduction of 33%.
After holding this Plenary Session, the Consortium will hold an Executive Committee with 38 points next Tuesday, May 29.
