The total investment has been more than 85,000 euros, including the new IT space, the remodeling work of the auditorium and updating of audiovisual media, furniture and technological equipment.
The Cádiz Free Trade Zone is continuously optimizing its infrastructure in the search for the best options and services for companies that contribute to the promotion of economic activity. In this way, the Heracles building in the Cadiz tax precinct has undergone an improvement in its facilities, which has included a new computer room and a complete renovation of its auditorium. These actions, for which more than 85,000 euros have been invested, are part of the Comprehensive Modernization Plan of the tax area, which has a global investment of more than 1.5 million euros.
The new computer equipment for the IT space, which has involved an investment of 15,000 euros, includes 20 state-of-the-art computers with internet connection and 24-inch monitors with the latest technological advances, with a 64-bit operating system and x64-based processor, hardware and software components that work together to process data in larger blocks, which allows more RAM memory to be handled and complex tasks to be performed more efficiently.
This modern room, available for companies that need to rent it for full days, is conceived as a support resource for business activity and technological training and seeks to provide companies with a professional environment equipped with the necessary means to develop training sessions, meetings, presentations or activities linked to technology and digitalization.
In addition, the Free Trade Zone has invested more than 70,000 euros in the remodeling of the auditorium located on the ground floor of the Heracles building and which serves a broad social and business fabric in the province of Cádiz since social events of neighborhood associations, awards galas, radio and television programs, as well as business events have been held there.
The auditorium has undergone a profound aesthetic renovation, with the installation of wooden paneling on its walls that not only offers an aesthetic improvement but also acoustics, replacement of signs and optimization of lighting, among others. In addition, the furniture has been adapted to the new image and features of this space.
In parallel, work has been done on the existing equipment, modernizing the audiovisual and computer infrastructure, acting on wiring and interconnections, control units for conferences, signal mixers and completely updating all the audiovisual and computer equipment.
With this initiative to optimize its resources, the Cádiz Free Trade Zone expands its service offering to the companies installed in the area and to the entire productive fabric of Cádiz, reinforcing its role as an engine of economic, technological and business development in the city.
