The mayor of the capital of Almeria has attended the Blue Zone Forum Navalia Meeting and has participated in one of the tables of the Blue Women Forum
The Cádiz Free Trade Zone will attend the Sun&Blue, the annual conference on tourism and blue economy held at the Cabo de Gata Conference Center in Almería on November 19 and 20, which brings together more than 1,000 professionals from the public, private, scientific and academic spheres. This has been confirmed by the Cádiz delegate, Fran González, to the mayor of Almería, María del Mar Vázquez Agüero, during the participation of the first mayor of Almeria at the Blue Zone Forum Navalia Meeting 2025.
Agüero has attended the Blue Economy forum that is being held in Cádiz, where she has taken part in one of the tables of today's Blue Women Forum, “Transformative Table and Territory: The impact of Female leadership in the Blue Economy”, shared with Inés González, director of the Vigo Free Trade Zone; Claudia Pellerano, president of the Association of Free Zones of the Americas (AZFA); and Carmen Tovar, delegate of the Seville Free Trade Zone. The table has been moderated by the director of Business Promotion and Foreign Trade of the Cádiz Free Zone, Marta Domínguez.
The delegate of the Free Trade Zone, Fran González, and the mayor of Almeria have exchanged experiences and have agreed to meet at the event to be held in November in Almería and which since its first edition has established itself as a reference platform to address, in an integrated manner, the great challenges and opportunities faced by coastal territories in tourism.
