The Free Zone of Cádiz will put in the market in the next few days a set of commercial plots in the center of Puerto Real, specifically in the area known as Huerta Pley, next to where the old summer theater of the Puerto Rican town was located. This area, in full growth with new population nuclei such as Jardines del Porvenir and the nearby neighborhood of almostnes, has excellent road communications since it connects with the highway that goes to municipalities such as San Fernando or Jerez and is very close to the railway station.
This set of four plots, for tertiary use and that add up to a total area of 6,675 m2, is fully urbanized and with all the necessary supplies to serve potential users, electrical connections, supply and sanitation and connection to telecommunications networks.
Specifically it consists of four spaces, the largest of which has an area of 4,670 m2, 1,585 m2 of which are reserved for parking. The other three plots have 800 m2, 750 m2 and 455 m2 respectively.
In this area of the municipality, a fast food chain is already established and there is a great citizen demand for commercial and leisure spaces that could serve a population in continuous growth, especially in the school period with university students who go to the near Campus of Puerto Real.
It must be remembered that these plots are part of the payment made by the City of Puerto Real to the Free Zone to liquidate the debt they had pending since 2007 and whose liquidation agreement ratified in May 2023 the delegate of the State, Fran González, and the then mayor of the municipality, Elena Amaya. The signed agreement stipulated that the Puerto Rican Consistory had to compensate for the Gaditano consortium 3.5 million euros corresponding to the payment for an old commercial promotion that was never made, materializing this payment with the delivery of seven real estate located in different areas of the town.
