Free zone takes three industrial plots at the bottom of the head in Puerto Real

The Executive Committee of the Consortium has approved today the conditions for the sale of these three spaces that have surfaces of 464, 472 and 727 m2

This industrial space is an area highly demanded by logistics companies and operators

            The Executive Committee of the Free Zone of Cádiz has authorized in its meeting today the public offer that establishes the conditions for the sale of three industrial plots at the bottom of the head of Puerto Real, specifically in the so-called vacant land of Shipyard Peri EU-7.1.

            The plots, in a highly demanded place and ready to be productive and useful for business activity, have surfaces of 464, 472 and 727 m2, with courtyards of different dimensions and a buildability of 495.45, 506, 25 and 506.25 respectively.

            These spaces have an important adaptation capacity to any business project, also taking into account that the Polygon of the Cabezuela, one of the economic lungs of Cádiz Bay, is currently with a great shortage of industrial land.

The demand for land in the head has been increasing in recent months, increased by the future presence of the Cabezuela train, which has aroused the interest of logistics companies that consider this key port land for the distribution of their merchandise.

The Free Zone of Cádiz puts these plots for sale in order to attract the investment that drives business activity in the Bay of Cádiz since it is industrial spaces with assumable dimensions for private companies, with the aim of implanting in the area with a vocation of permanence.

These plots are part of the properties with which the Puerto Real City Council compensated to the Free Zone after the settlement of the agreement signed in 2007. The agreement reached in 2023 between the State delegate, Fran González, and the then mayor of the municipality, Elena Amaya, established that the Puerto Rican consistory should compensate for the Gaditano consortium 3.5 million euros corresponding to the payment for a former commercial promotion that was never do.

In addition to the soils in the head that today are taken to public offer, the free zone was made with the property of an office building in the El Trocadero polygon; A space in the farts, in addition to a commercial space in the area known as Huerta Pley, in the center of the town.
