The Free Zone of Cádiz has concluded a very productive visit to Sil 2025, the International Logistics, Transportation and Supply Chain fair, organized by the Consorci of the Free Zone of Barcelona and which in 2025 has celebrated its 27th edition consolidating itself as a global reference.
The State Delegate in the Free Zone of Cádiz, Fran González, accompanied by the Director of Business Promotion and Foreign Trade, Marta Domínguez, and the coordinator of Incubazul, José Manuel Fedriani, have participated in the International Logistics Hall, which yesterday lived its central day with the official inauguration and the NIT of the logistics, the traditional event in which the Logistics NIT awards were given.
The Cadiz consortium has also been attended by a part of its commercial team, which has attended the stand located in the exhibition zone and has received numerous visits brought by the information offered on equipment and advantages of the Cadiz enclosure.
The State delegate in the Consorci of the Free Zone of Barclona, in his capacity as president of SIL, Pere Navarro, and the general director, Blanca Sorigué, were in charge of receiving the authorities attending the inauguration that were Jordi Valls, fourth lieutenant of mayor of the City Council of Barcelona; Jordi Terrades, general secretary of the Department of the Territory, Housing and Ecological Transition; Jose Antonio Santano, Secretary of State for Transport and Sustainable Mobility; and Carlos Pietro, Government delegate in Catalonia. The State delegate, Fran González, wanted to highlight the importance of attending this type of forums and "giving visibility to the Free Zone of Cádiz and its new projects within the framework of the Blue, Incubazul and Blue Core economy." Fran González has insisted on pointing out that SIL ”is a great international forum in which not only synergies are shared, experiences are shared and commercial contacts are established, but it is also a space of knowledge. It is always interesting to know similar initiatives to ours, entrepreneurship and innovation models and in the SIL all these conditions occur”.
With more than 14,000 registered professionals and a strong commitment to innovation, Sil 2025 has been an epicenter of business and knowledge, highlighting the implementation of artificial intelligence to enhance the meeting. Visitors, for the most part, seek to know the latest news of the market (46%) and establish contact with exhibitors and suppliers (43%). Sil 2025 stands as a global meeting point, gathering representatives of the logistics chain of more than 80 countries.
The stand of the Free Zone of Cádiz in the exhibitors zone has received numerous visits and in it contacts have been maintained, especially taking into account the technological character that this SIL has presided and that the Gaditano consortium has shown its new model of innovative industry with Incubazul and the Blue Core as central axes.
One of the incubated, the startup Go planner, a company that through innovative tools, optimize logistics processes, He has also participated in the room for the first time with his own stand and has said he was very satisfied with the experience, "very interesting and enriching and that opens commercial opportunities." Go Planner has also had words of thanks to Incubazul for its constant support.
And it is that one of the great novelties of this edition has been the strong integration of artificial intelligence (AI) on the Digital Platform of the SIL, called Sil Virtual Ia Platform. This tool is designed to maximize networking between companies and professionals. Among its functionalities, an intelligent agenda has had special prominence that suggests events, sessions or meetings of interest to the visitor, based on their registration preferences, and the Virtual Assistant Silvia, capable of answering questions on the platform and on the interactive screens of the room.
