The Free Zone of Cádiz will be present in a new edition, the twenty -seventh, of the International Logistics Hall (SIL), organized by the consortium of the Free Zone of Barcelona and that is celebrated in the city of Barcelona from June 18 to 20, with some figures that strengthen its role in the field of transport, intralogistics and supply chain and a meeting that this year will be centered in artificial intelligence and innovation technological in the sector.
The State delegate, Fran González, will attend accompanied by the Director of Business Promotion and Foreign Trade, Marta Domínguez, and with a strong presence of technicians in this area, since it is planned to intensify the commercialization and take the opportunity to make and reinforce contacts.
The Consortium will be present with a stand in the exhibition zone, where information will be promoted and projected on the Free Zone of Cádiz, especially affecting the new model of industry 4.0 of the Free Zone of Cádiz, based on sustainability and respect for the environment, and in the innovative and technological ecosystem that is being formed around the Incubator of Blue Economics Startups
Keep in mind that the logistics sector, a fundamental engine of the global economy, is in a moment of deep transformation. The adoption of new technologies such as artificial intelligence, Big Data and robotics are promoting a rapid evolution towards more efficient, sustainable and digitized models.
Precisely the International Logistics Salon focuses on technological innovation and the ability to adapt its offer for this edition, which has the participation of more than 650 exhibiting companies, 30% of them international and that will present more than 160 novelties in world first and will organize more than 250 events.
As for the sectors represented, 23% of the firms belong to the transport sector, another 23% to the intralogistic, 19% to the technological sector and 4.0, 10% to the last mile, and the rest is distributed between infrastructure, immologists and services. Likewise, the contest is also emerging as an international meeting point, since it will be attended by more than 80 countries and with the participation of more than seven autonomous communities. The organizers estimate that the economic impact of the event in the city of Barcelona will exceed 50 million euros and will have an impact on sectors such as hospitality, trade and restoration.
The Free Zone of Cádiz has been faithful for years to the appointment in Barcelona, which in these days is concerned in the capital of Logistics, and that it receives visitors who come from international markets in a large part, with a special participation of professionals from Latin America, Europe, North Africa and Southeast Asia and it is one of the most international editions in history, according to the organizers.
