The Free Zone of Cádiz has launched an innovative 24/7 care office promoted by artificial intelligence, with the aim of continuing to enhance the blue economy from Cádiz through the Blue Core-Incubazul project in the field of blue economy. This new digital tool, which has been presented publicly today at the current Incubazul headquarters in the European Building, will allow startups and entrepreneurs in the blue field to access personalized support continuously, through automatic responses and specific resources.

The main novelty of this office is the incorporation of a virtual assistant promoted by artificial intelligence, designed to provide detailed information about the Blue Core project and on various key aspects of the blue economy, such as aid, fairs, events and more. This chatbot is not only a static tool, but a living tool that will learn from interaction with users and new sources of information, with the aim of integrating and agglutinating knowledge from reference entities in the field.

The tool allows a 4.0 navigation by the recently published Blue Core website (www.zfbluecore.es), offering a completely new experience for users. Thanks to interaction through natural language, entrepreneurs and companies can access information without navigating multiple sections of the website. In addition, the chatbot will be in direct contact with the human team behind Blue Core, which will take note of the needs of the users and will contact them to provide personalized support in the areas they require.

The State delegate in the Free Zone of Cádiz, Fran González, stressed that “with its 24/7 character, the Blue Core care office guarantees a quick and agile response for companies or entrepreneurs who need to incubate or accelerate their businesses in the field of the blue economy, thus contributing to the digital and intelligent transformation of the sector”.

"The Free Zone of Cádiz continues to consolidate with innovative projects such as Blue Core as a reference entity in the field of the blue economy, promoting the creation and development of highly technological and sustainable solutions in sectors of the blue economy," González emphasized.

It should be noted that the ZF Blue Core-Vivero of Companies 4.0 project is financed by 85% by the European Regional Development Fund within the Plurirregional Operational Program of Spain Feder 2021-2027 through the INCYDE Foundation of the Chambers of Commerce in the framework of the priority: P1A. of the Viveros 4.0 high -tech incubators program, aimed at favoring a digital and intelligent transition and, within it, in the specific objective 1.3 “Reinforcement of sustainable growth and the competitiveness of SMEs and the creation of employment in these, also through productive investments”.

Project office: comprehensive and effective support to startups, companies and entrepreneurs

Unlike other support programs, the Free Zone of Cádiz promotes, through Blue Core, a Technical Project Office to attend and support in an integral way to startups, companies and entrepreneurs of the blue sector.

The differential value of this office lies in its ability to adapt to the specific needs of blue entrepreneurship companies and projects, such as: support in the preparation of European candidacies; definition and development of communication strategies, including development and execution of concrete actions; support in financing, including the identification, preparation and presentation of public aid; technological development; the protection of innovation; and other key aspects of the management and climbing of business projects. This approach, focused on action, goes beyond traditional mentoring, which guarantees that companies not only receive guidance, but tangible results and specialized technical advice that allows them to advance effectively in their projects.

Blue Core support fields

The Blue Core project offers, through its specific and acceleration support programs, support for companies and entrepreneurs in the following areas:

  • Business: Identification of opportunities in emerging sectors, development of products and services in the Blue Economy sector, and technical advice to develop and strengthen the business model of companies.
  • Internationalization: Advice on regulations and access requirements to international markets, facilitate the mobility of projects, search for strategic partners, technical support to penetrate strategic markets, and preparation for fairs, commercial missions and European calls.
  • Financing: Financing collection, elaboration of financial plans, identification of public aid and mentoring on financing for projects within the blue economy, as well as advice and accompaniment in the negotiation with financial entities
  • Networking: Access to sector events, integration in blue innovation communities, knowledge exchange and meetings with companies, research groups and other strategic agents.
  • Technology and digitalization: Support in the development of the technological solutions of business projects, as well as in the digital transformation of their business models.

With its comprehensive approach, Blue Core-Incubazul seeks to accelerate the growth of startups, companies and entrepreneurs in the blue economy, supporting innovation and the creation of sustainable solutions that contribute to a more competitive and respectful future environment.

In addition to the office, the Free Zone Consortium of Cádiz will continue to add key entities of the sector with the aim of strengthening the capabilities of the Blue Core project. In the future, the consortium seeks that, with the collaboration of the agents of the sector, artificial intelligence behind this tool is enhanced, making it an even more robust and effective solution to boost the development of the blue economy.

External Zone Program

As part of this comprehensive strategy and to support companies at a time of international uncertainty and instability of global markets, the consortium also promotes the External Zone Program, focused on promoting the internationalization of companies in the Free Zone of Cádiz. This program will facilitate connections and opportunities for exchange in international markets, supporting companies in externalization and opening to new markets.

In addition, the consortium will launch the Blue ecosystem program, that will focus on energize the sector through networking activities, informative days and training workshops oriented to the blue economy. This program seeks to strengthen collaboration networks and promote the exchange of knowledge between the key actors in the sector.

With these additional programs, Blue Core not only accelerates the growth of startups in the blue economy, but also contributes to the creation of a more solid and collaborative ecosystem, facilitating opportunities for expansion and continuous learning.
