                        The delegate of the Free Zone of Cádiz, Fran González, accompanied by the Director of Business Promotion and Foreign Trade, Marta Domínguez, has received the manager of the Rionegro Free Zone in Medellín, Carlos Mesa, and Sara Valderrama Zapata, administrative deputy manager of the entity, who have known the facilities and projects of the Gaditano Consortium during the visit to the city of Cádiz.                         Fran González has met with the Colombian delegation, to whom he explained the details of the new industry model developed by the Cadiz institution and the evolution of the startup incubator of Blue Economics, as well as the new nursery of companies 4.0 he is developing, the ZF Blue Core.

                        The Free Zone of Cádiz maintains a close link with Latin American companies and enclosures, especially since it is part of the Free Zones Association of the Americas (AZFA) of which Fran González is a member of the Board of Directors.

                         The manager of the Rionegro Free Zone, who has also visited the port of Cádiz, was very interested in knowing the spaces of the Gaditano fiscal enclosure and also very attracted to the unbeatable geographical situation of the province.

                        The commercial missions carried out by the Cadiz Consortium in the last year to Latin America, especially in Colombia, have fostered contacts in these markets with different companies and entities, which have been very attracted to knowing the facilities, for the benefits and services and for looking for possible roads of collaboration with the Free Zone of Cádiz.

                        The Rionegro Free Zone has more than 32 years of experience and is a leading frank zone in Colombia, being the largest multi -judicial cluster in the country, with more than 100 companies from different sectors: logistics, commercial, industrial, services and technology, where green predominates.

Fran González has stated that “it is a pleasure to open the Free Zone of Cádiz to responsible for other countries and be able to show them in situ the initiatives that the Cadiz consortium is developing. This visit also shows the links that we are establishing for months in the framework of the internationalization work of our own companies and projection as a bridge with other Latin American free areas, specifically what Colombia represents in that link with the province of Cádiz”.

                        After the visit, Carlos Mesa has explained that "the Free Zone of Cádiz goes beyond setting companies since it is creating a pipe of future companies of very innovative sectors to achieve companies that can be established and generate social benefits and employment for the region.
