The government invests more than 24 million euros in broadband deployment in the province

"Cyber ​​attacks are increasingly complex and sophisticated, but can be faced with awareness and training by all users," said the Secretary of State for Telecommunications.

Hernando has reported that “the Government makes available to citizens and companies, through the INCIBE, 017, a national and free service that can be used to consult doubts, but also to know what to do when there is a cyber attack. In 2024 on 017, which can be contacted by phone, WhatsApp or email, received about 100,000 consultations from all over Spain. Cádiz ”.

"More than half of the consultations received by companies are reactive consultations, when there is already a cybersecurity problem, but there are 32% of preventive calls. This is very important because it means that the awareness increases. We must continue to promote among all that digital transformation but with a safe environment," he said ..

 During the days, with a presentation entitled "Digitization at your fingertips. Tools and financing", the head of Red.es, has offered the keys for companies in general and especially entrepreneurs to have information that allows them to access the necessary financing for their takeoff.

Red.es is an entity attached to the Ministry for digital transformation and public function through the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence that has been a reference in the digital transformation of our country for more than 20 years. In fact, Jesús Herrero participated last November in one of the tables of Blue Zone Forum-Innovazul 2024, where he talked about the digitalization of SMEs.

Thus, Jesús Herrero has offered details about the different lines of action in which the entity that represents and are aimed at SMEs and Startups works. Jesús Herrero has talked about the open calls of Kit Digital, a program that has already granted more than 680,000 aid nationwide which is equivalent to more than 2.8 billion. The general director of Red.es has also highlighted the work carried out by the entity to support the entrepreneurial ecosystem with initiatives such as the Challenge program whose objective is to facilitate the entry of Spanish startups into the most innovative technological ecosystems in the world or with the ONE platform aimed at supporting entrepreneurship initiatives.

Herrero has also referred to how Red.es uses technology to automate and expedite the processes, as occurs in the Kit Consulting program.

Today's days are framed in the work strategy around innovation and talent collection marked by the Free Zone of Cádiz, which is reinforcing the actions linked to the Incubazul ecosystem, with the ZF Blue Core as an element of continuity.
