The delegate of the Consortium, Fran González, and those responsible for the Technology Center of Aquaculture, Mª del Mar Agroso and Mª del Mar Barrios, have signed a protocol for the development of new innovative initiatives today

Both agencies will be coordinated through a mixed commission that will monitor the planned actions, the new projects and those that are already underway

The State delegate in the Free Zone of Cádiz, Fran González, and the representatives of the Technology Center for Aquaculture, Ctaqua, María del Mar Agroso and Maria del Mar Barrios, have signed a protocol of action today through which both organizations will work together in the impulse of innovative initiatives linked to the blue economy.

The Free Zone of Cádiz thus takes another step in the work it is developing to make the province the great pole of the blue economy, reinforcing the ecosystem created around the acceleration program of its highly innovative incubazul incubator, a program through which a hundred startups have already passed.

According to the signed protocol, Zona Franca and Ctaqua will participate in the identification and evaluation of new projects and initiatives that are intended to contribute to the development of the blue economy in the province of Cádiz and for this a mixed monitoring commission will be created that will be in charge of the coordination and monitoring of the actions.

In addition, CTAQUA will provide advice and support in research to projects that are accelerating in Incubazul while the incubator of the Free Zone of Cádiz will open its acceleration program to development projects at the Technological Center for Aquaculture, provided that they meet the parameters established in Incubazul.

The protocol will make it possible for both organisms to contribute their knowledge and experience in the sector and will serve to promote innovative initiatives linked to the blue economy since CTAQUA coincides with a free zone to promote and promote the development of projects, if applicable to the Sea Food and Food Aquaculture sector.

It is important to note that Zona Franca continues and strengthens the work initiated with Incubazul with the development of the ZF Blue Core project, a nursery of companies 4.0, also co -financed by European funds, which will complement the work of Incubazul promoting innovative entrepreneurship linked to the blue economy.

After the firm, which took place at the facilities of the Aquaculture Center located at the Commercial Pier of Cádiz, Fran González was able to know firsthand the activity of this entity dedicated to research, innovation and development for aquaculture and sea products, touring the different departments accompanied by those responsible for Ctaqua.
