The defibrillators, all located in strategic and accessible places for the public and users of the facilities, had already been placed in the buildings of the fiscal enclosure of Cádiz –melkart, Atlas, Heracles, Europe and headquarters -, as well as in other centers business of the province.

The devices installed by the consortium are semi -automatic, which in addition to being very easy to handle have the great advantage of their mobility. According to experts, who recommend this type of devices for business spaces, they are easily transportable, so they may be at the right time before the 5 minutes after the heart attack.

The company that has been awarded service, Technology 2050, has provided for defibrillators and is also responsible for its correct operation. In addition, it has already taught a series of training sessions to the consortium template on the use and management of these devices, since they require minimal formation to be used. More training days are planned for the personnel of the new spaces in which they have been installed.

Although the regulations in Andalusia do not require its installation except in towns with more than 50,000 inhabitants, metro stations with daily traffic of equal to or greater than 5,000 people, sports facilities, centers or complexes with daily users equal to or greater than 500 people and public establishments with a capacity equal to or greater than 5,000 people, its installation in work centers is recommended, regardless of the size, since its existence is essential to save lives by being able to attend to the patient immediately.
