Zona Franca will install 90 electric charging points in its four parking lots

The total investment in this project is 490,000 euros and has 20% aid from the MOVES III Program, an incentive from the Andalusian Energy Agency to promote sustainable mobility.

The Consortium manages four parking lots in the capital, three underground - Glorieta, Carranza and Loreto - and the high-rise parking, the latter in the interior area.

This measure is part of the firm commitment of the Cádiz Free Trade Zone to implement its new industry 4.0 model, innovative and committed to a sustainable future and the reduction of environmental pollution.

The total investment of the project in the underground car parks of Carranza, Glorieta and Loreto and in the so-called High-rise parking of the interior enclosure will be 490,000 euros, an investment that will receive 20% aid from the MOVES III Program of the Andalusian Energy Agency focused on encouraging both the purchase of electric vehicles and the installation of charging points.

Aparcamientos Zona Franca, a company in the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, has recently received the resolution from the Andalusian Energy Agency, dependent on the Department of Industry, Energy and Mines of the Government of Andalusia, estimating the request for an incentive for the installation of parking points. charging of electric vehicles in all the car parks it manages.

These charging facilities will be added to the different actions around sustainable mobility that have recently been carried out in the tax district of Cádiz, such as the electric station, the bike lane or the implementation of new 100% electric vehicles for the use of personnel, Maintenance van and for the Civil Guard troops who carry out their function at the venue.

With this new step, the Cádiz Free Zone strengthens its new industry model, innovative, sustainable and committed to the environment, with the central axis of the Blue Economy new economic model, redoubling its commitment to renewable energies and decarbonization.
