The logistics operator signs a contract with the Consortium to occupy plot 6, next to the roundabout, and respond to its growth needs
Cayco is one of the most consolidated companies since they have been operating in the area since the 80s.
The Cayco company is strengthening its presence in the Cádiz Free Trade Zone and, in addition to being one of the traditional operators of the area, it is also one of its most important and consolidated companies. This is confirmed by the fact that the veteran logistics operator has once again expanded its facilities in the capital's fiscal space by signing a new lease contract for a 4,660 m2 plot, specifically the one formerly occupied by Procosur next to the roundabout. .
With these new facilities, which will serve for Cayco's usual activity as a logistics warehouse for goods and containers, the presence and growing development of the logistics operator in the Cádiz Free Zone is confirmed, becoming the company with the largest leased space currently in the Cádiz fiscal precinct.
Cayco, which began its journey in the Consortium's facilities in the 1980s, is a top-level logistics operator and one of the historic companies in the Cádiz Free Trade Zone, where it has its main headquarters in the province.
It is a logistics operator that offers Customs, Warehousing and Transportation solutions, structured in six groups of services: freight forwarding – international maritime, air and land transportation –, customs, logistics solutions, national distribution, consolidated routes and special operations, so its presence on the premises is of great importance.
His connection with the maritime sector has led him to collaborate with different shipowners in the needs they require in different shipyards around the world and especially in the Cadiz and Puerto Real Shipyards.
In this context, a few months ago, Cayco carried out the assembly in its tax premises facilities of a large satellite that motivated a special operation for its subsequent transfer to the port of Cádiz for placement on a cruise ship. The transfer of the structure, in cylindrical shape and measuring 4 meters wide by 3.70 meters high, was carried out at dawn with the collaboration of the Local Police.
The delegate of the Free Trade Zone, Fran González, has expressed his satisfaction with “the growth experienced by one of our large companies, with whom we have always maintained an excellent relationship and commitment. Cayco is an example of our most traditional activity, our essence, that is, the activity linked to foreign trade and logistics, and the reinforcement of its presence in our facilities encourages us to continue with the strategy and line of work that we are carrying out, always under the prism of the new, more innovative and committed industrial model.”
The Cádiz Free Trade Zone is carrying out important work to recover and improve its productive spaces, in addition to adapting the facilities of the Cádiz tax area to the new parameters of quality, sustainability and commitment to the environment that the new industrial model implies. which you are working on.
