The arrival of the company will generate highly qualified employment with the hiring of 97 people - of which 67 will be located in the Consortium's facilities - and could reach 150-200 new quality jobs in 3 years
The State delegate, Fran González, values the link of the firm with the naval maritime sector and the reinforcement of the Consortium's commitment to innovation and industry 4.0
The multinational engineering and technology company that provides comprehensive solutions for companies, Quest Global, inaugurated this Thursday its new facilities in the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, specifically on the fifth floor of the Europa building, from where it will carry out the expansion of its project in the Bay of Cadiz. From the Cádiz tax district, the firm will significantly enhance its presence in the naval programs of the San Fernando and Puerto Real shipyards, with its own headquarters in the Consortium facilities.
During the inauguration ceremony, which was led by the Minister of University, Research and Innovation of the Government of Andalusia, Mr. José Carlos Gómez Villamandos, Global presented its development plan in Andalusia, in which, together with the facilities in Seville, the new office in Cádiz will have a very relevant role.
The delegate of the Free Zone, Fran González, who also spoke at the event, highlighted the importance of Quest's connection with the naval maritime sector and pointed out that the choice of the firm to settle in the Free Zone “confirms to us and reaffirms our commitment, our drive and our commitment to a new industry. As you surely know, at Zona Franca we have changed the traditional industry model towards an industry 4.0 and we are working to promote and attract innovative projects.”
The arrival of the company will generate highly qualified employment, with the hiring of 97 people, of which 67 will be located in the new facilities of the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz and which, added to the personnel in the shipyard, could reach 150-200 new quality jobs in the next three years. The multinational has opted for the interior of Cadiz to enhance proximity to its customers, respond to the increase in business volume in the naval sector, and complement it with other activities in strategic sectors such as aerospace or automotive.
