The Executive Committee of the Consortium has authorized the award to this Andalusian cooperative society dedicated to the wholesale distribution of fruits
The growth needs of the company, which currently has facilities in the center of the municipality, lead them to move to this Consortium industrial land of 5,568.33 m2
The Executive Committee of the Cádiz Free Trade Zone has ratified in its last meeting the awarding of the sale to the Andalusian company Frutas Moreno of the plot called T5-1 in the Marismas de Palmones de Los Barrios Business Park.
This is an urban land for industrial use located on Avenida de los Empresarios of the aforementioned business park with an area of 5,568.33 m2 and in which the Andalusian firm, dedicated to the wholesale distribution of fruits, vegetables and greens, plans to build a warehouse of approximately 1,000 m2 with refrigerated spaces for fruits and vegetables, as well as offices.
The Andalusian cooperative provides a wholesale fruit and vegetable distribution service to the entire Campo de Gibraltar and part of the Costa del Sol, in addition to providing service to various ship supplier companies, which supply merchandise to ships that pass through the Strait of Gibraltar.
All this activity has led to significant growth needs, which leads them to acquire the so-called land, especially for storage and logistics and distribution tasks.
The Cádiz Free Trade Zone has a strong presence in the Campo de Gibraltar and the Bay of Algeciras, focused on the generation of productive spaces to strengthen the business fabric of the area and facilitate the attraction of investors.
In this way, the Consortium, in addition to industrial land in Algeciras, Tarifa and Palmones, a business incubator also in Palmones and two business centers in Algeciras, will soon put into operation the Bahía de Algeciras Tax Precinct, 130,000 m2 in Los Barrios with customs and tax advantages.
