El delegado del Estado en la Zona Franca de Cádiz, Fran González recibió a Margarita Pena y a Carlos González Pérez, que conocieron distintas instalaciones de interés y posibles referentes para futuros proyectos en la isla
Durante la jornada de ayer jueves visitaron la obra del Recinto Fiscal Bahía de Algeciras, el puerto de Algeciras y Dalse, el depósito Franco gestionado al 50% por el Consorcio gaditano y Bernardino Abad
Fran González considera fundamental la coordinación y el trabajo conjunto entre zonas francas para crear sinergias que beneficien al área de influencia de cada una de ellas
La delegada del Estado en la Zona Franca de Tenerife, Margarita Pena, y el presidente de la Autoridad Portuaria de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Carlos González, fueron recibidos ayer por el delegado del Estado en la Zona Franca de Cádiz, Fran González, que les acompañó durante una jornada en la que conocieron distintas instalaciones del Campo de Gibraltar.
La jornada sirvió para que los responsables de las dos instituciones canarias pudieran comprobar de primera mano la potente capacidad logística y la gran dinamización de la actividad productiva que tiene la comarca, con el gran puerto de Algeciras como foco económico y el Recinto Fiscal Bahía de Algeciras en pleno desarrollo.

La delegada tinerfeña se mostró muy interesada con el sistema de seguridad y tramitación aduanera que implantará la Zona Franca de Cádiz en el nuevo espacio fiscal, ya que para el control de acceso de vehículos, camiones y personas se ha diseñado un moderno sistema que permite la tramitación on line con Aduanas de los permisos y accesos y facilita la labor de los operarios y el acceso y salida de mercancías. Para ello habrá tres pórticos para el control de vehículos que tienen múltiples cámaras: de matrículas delanteras y traseras, de contenedores lateral, de contenedores traseras; de manera que si están bien las autorizaciones y los trámites aduaneros, el sistema permitirá la entrada o la salida sin necesidad de mediación de papeles. En el caso de las personas, se instalarán tornos con reconocimiento facial.

The visit to the Algecireño port concluded with a tour of the facilities that APM Terminals has in the port of Algeciras, one of the largest terminals of the Western Mediterranean and a natural cargo transport center to and from Africa, Europe and the Far East.
The Free Zone of Cádiz has the port of Algeciras as a great ally, together with the corporate agents of the region, for the development and commissioning of the Bahía de Algeciras fiscal enclosure and both entities share synergies to attract companies and investment to the new space Prosecutor of the Free Zone in the Bay of Algeciras who will have a positive impact throughout the region.
In this sense, Fran González explained that he is convinced that “it is essential to coordinate between the seven Spanish free zones, each with its characteristics and strengths, to create synergies and that the socio -productive fabric of the areas of influence of each one benefits from each Of these and even more with the FreeFar Zone of Tenerife, with whom we share a strategic location in the Atlantic that leads us to a natural alliance ”.
The delegate of Zona Franca de Cádiz also highlighted the importance of “collaboration with the ports as an added value of the activity of fiscal enclosures, a valuable collaboration that we are already verifying in the implementation and marketing of the Bahía de Algeciras fiscal enclosure ”
For their part, Margarita Pena and Carlos González transferred to the delegate Fran González his thanks for these two fruitful day and their satisfaction for the potential detected in the province and the great opportunity that the Cadiz companies have to have two fiscal enclosures in the bays of Cádiz and Algeciras.
For Pena “the visit to the province of Cádiz by the Free Zone cannot be more productive. The Cadiz consortium is a reference for us for its more than nine decades of history and for its strategic location also in the Atlantic. From the free zone of Tenerife and from the hand of its port we believe fundament international ”.
Likewise, the president of the Port Authority of Algeciras, Gerardo Landaluce, shared the interest of the Free Frank of Tenerife in the impulse that alternative energies must take as is the case of green hydrogen, in which as in the islands, they also work in various projects of the private initiative to produce and supply it in the Bay of Algeciras. “It is one of the fuels of the future”, said Landaluce, who recalled that the port of Algeciras aligns with its green strategy with the commitments to act sustainably of the UN 2030 Agenda, the 2030 Agenda of the World Network of Port Cities (AIVP), the environmental priorities which establishes the European Ports Organization (ESPO) and the lines of work of the European Green Pact.
The day concluded with a visit to the customs and logistics deposit of southern Europe (Dalse), a 50% participated company in the Free Zone and the Bernardino Abad company, which is located on the Isla Verde dock, of the port of Algeciras, and It is dedicated to the logistics services of added value and to the deposit of goods, managing an exempt area with fiscal and tariff benefits that provide the different customs authorizations, assimilating it to the free zones. The Canarian responsible were very interested in knowing these facilities and their way of operation as a reference for future projects in Tenerife.
Fran González showed Margarita Pena and Carlos González the facilities of Dalse, which has more than 12,000 meters of warehouse, ten load springs -Tres for refrigerated merchandise-, Bitémpera Chamber and machinery for bottle seal.
The visit of those responsible for the Canary institutions continues today Friday in the Cadiz capital, where the fiscal enclosure of Cádiz will know and will also be received in the port by the president of the Port Authority of the Bay of Cádiz (APBC), Teófila Martínez.
