It is the first time since the opening of this business building in 2015 that the Consortium has managed to complete the marketing of all its available spaces, with activity in both the 18 offices and the large premises on the ground floor where a hemodialysis center serves.
This facility is characterized by its diversity as it houses companies, SMEs and liberal professionals from diverse sectors such as construction, health, training and hospitality, among others, which have even managed to establish synergies between them.
The State delegate, Fran González, has shown his satisfaction with this excellent occupancy data that confirms the boost that the Free Trade Zone has given to its commercial strategy to energize and relaunch its productive spaces throughout the province.
The Iro business center, which the Cádiz Free Trade Zone has managed in the Urbisur industrial estate in Chiclana since 2015, has reached 100% occupancy in all its spaces for the first time since its opening and thanks to the arrival of the last available office of a company dedicated to the distribution and support of hospitality machinery.
This company, which has been awarded office 14 of 23.55 m2 Through the Permanent Public Offer of the Cádiz Free Trade Zone, it completes the multidisciplinary habitat made up of the firms that provide services from this facility and that are from sectors as diverse as training, construction or social-health services, among others. They all occupy offices between 18 and 45 m2, along with the large ground floor premises of 875 m2 which houses a hemodialysis center with capacity for more than 190 patients.
The variety of the activity they carry out and the versatile design of the business center itself has allowed some of the companies to interact and generate synergies that give them added value and improve their competitiveness.
The opening of this new activity in the Chiclana business center confirms the good reception of the business community in the area and the impulse given by the Consortium to its Business Promotion Area to reactivate the marketing of all its spaces in the province and more actively address the real demand of the business community.
In this sense, filling the occupation of the Iro business center follows the path of the results obtained in the commercial balance at the end of last summer, which was the best in recent years with the arrival of new companies both in the capital of Cadiz and in different municipalities of the province.
Thus, the Special Delegate of the State in the Free Zone of Cádiz, Fran González, has shown his satisfaction with this new good data in the commercialization of a business building of the Consortium and has highlighted "that completing the available spaces of the Iro business center confirms that the commercial strategy of the Free Zone is managing to attract investments and activity to the province, taking care of and serving both the large companies that operate from our tax precinct in Cádiz as well as small and medium-sized businessmen and entrepreneurs who require other types of spaces, more functional and with good services and strategic locations such as those offered by our business centers and as is the case of the Iro building."
Fran González has stressed that “in 2021 we have a very positive commercial balance, the best in recent years, with 64 new contracts signed, which in terms of surface area represent 38,000 m2 rented, and purchase and sale operations that exceed 8 million euros. These data encourage us to continue working along the same lines, always seeking to promote economic activity in the province of Cádiz.”
