Institutional visit of the delegate of the Free Trade Zone to the Sanlúcar City Council

The person in charge of the Consortium, accompanied by the mayor of the town and the Councilor for Development, took advantage of the visit to learn first-hand about the activity of several companies linked to the new industrial model of sustainability and environmental commitment that the Cadiz Institution is developing.

The State delegate in the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, Fran González, held an institutional meeting this morning with the mayor of Sanlúcar, Victor Mora, a meeting in which both explored possible lines of collaboration between the Cádiz Institution and the City Council.

The head of the Consortium has taken advantage of the visit to learn first-hand about the activity and work carried out by three companies linked to the new model of sustainable industry and commitment to the environment that the Cádiz Free Trade Zone is developing within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

After the institutional meeting, Fran González, accompanied by the mayor of Sanlúcar and the Councilor for Public Works, Ana Sumariva, toured the facilities of Belcon Obras, a company recently recognized in the Recognition Contest for Companies Committed to the Sustainable Development Goals, Lozano Reciclajes and Sanasur, a laboratory that offers top quality cosmetics and body care products made with natural ingredients and which has won the Andalusia award. Fran González has shown his satisfaction with the great talent and potential that is seen every day in Cádiz companies and entrepreneurs, especially in these fields of the green and blue economy that are the future and in the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz is currently moving with its new industrial model committed to the environment and future generations.

Today's visit has continued the meeting that Representatives of the Association of Companies of the Polígono Rematacaudales de Sanlúcar (AEmpresas) held last month with the State delegate to study ways of collaboration between the tax entity and the municipality.
