Companies can now opt for a space in the Bahía de Algeciras Tax Precinct

The Free Trade Zone has published the Public Offer for the commercialization of three plots for logistics and transformation activities after its approval by the Executive Committee

These spaces are intended for economic operators dedicated to activities linked to international trade and beneficiaries, therefore, of the customs and tax advantages offered by the facility.

For the allocation of land, the Free Trade Zone will take into account criteria such as the coherence and solidity of the proposals, investment, job creation

The Cádiz Free Trade Zone has published the Public Offer for the commercialization of the Bahía de Algeciras Tax Precinct (RFBA) after its approval by the Executive Committee in its last meeting. The Bases included in the offer have been prepared in a very studied manner, after preparing a Strategic Commercial Plan (PEC), to respond to the needs of the economic sector of the Bay of Algeciras, adjusting to the regulatory framework of the Free Zone.

In fact, the Algeciras Bay Fiscal Area (RFBA) responds to a historical demand from the business community of the region, specifically from all those related to activities linked to import-export operations around the port of Algeciras, who demanded this type of special spaces to increase their competitiveness.

The Public Offer of the Bahía de Algeciras Tax Precinct (RFBA) is aimed at economic operators, understood as professionals linked to the activity to which customs legislation is applied, mainly those dedicated to international trade. In this way, companies located in the fiscal area will benefit from the corresponding customs and tax advantages, which represents significant cost savings for the business.

The three plots included in the Public Offer have different dimensions to accommodate projects of different sizes. PLT-1 has an area of ​​42,095 m2, the second or PLT-2 has 27,331 m2 and the third PLT-3 has 10,840 m2. Los licitadores podrán optar a más de una parcela al presentar su oferta.

The bases contemplate the implementation of operating companies, national or international, and also incorporates the figure of the project promoter as a possible successful bidder who acquires the leasing right and executes the project to sublease to accredited operator clients.

Los espacios están previstos para actividades de logística y transformación y los interesados en acceder a este enclave fiscal tendrán que acreditarse como operadores económicos ajustándose al artículo 3 del Reglamento de Régimen Interior del Recinto Fiscal Bahía de Algeciras , realizando su solicitud al Consorcio.

The Free Trade Zone makes the tax land available to the successful bidders and the companies themselves will be in charge of carrying out its construction according to their needs and in accordance with the regulations of the Tax Precinct, having a waiting period of 8 months for the execution of the works.

The evaluation criteria for the award of these lands by Zona Franca will be the solidity and solvency of the project presented, the volume of investment, the creation of jobs, the execution period or the economic offer and guarantee presented by the bidder, among others.

Con la puesta en marcha del Recinto Fiscal Bahía de Algeciras, la Zona Franca de Cádiz, con el apoyo del Gobierno de España, responde a una demanda reiterada del tejido socioeconómico de la comarca que requerían de esta valiosa herramienta para, compartiendo sinergias con el puerto de Algeciras y las grandes industrias, convertir toda la zona en un foco logístico, industrial y exportador de primer orden.
