The Andalusian Health Service (SAS) will occupy another warehouse in the interior of the Free Zone, which will be used as a logistics platform for Covid material and which will complete the equipment that the SAS has already been using for years in the Free Zone, specifically since 2005.
This new warehouse has a surface area of just over 1,000 m2 and is located in the interior, in the area that Altadis belonged to, and will be used as a storage and distribution center for medical supplies against Covid-19 to the different centers. health workers in the province of Cádiz, providing support and completing the operations carried out by the current facilities that the SAS has in the Free Trade Zone.
The Andalusian Health Service currently occupies two facilities owned by the Consortium, a warehouse in the outer area of 2,079 m2 where the laundry is located, and another logistics warehouse of 4,261 m2 in the interior area and which is used as a provincial logistics platform for storage. and distribution of medical supplies. This facility was inaugurated in 2015 to centralize the sanitary storage that the SAS previously had in different places in the province.
Given the urgency to use the new facility due to the needs caused by the current health scenario, the Cádiz Free Trade Zone has carried out the conditioning of the required space, proceeding with cleaning work and some minor arrangements so that the logistics center can function as quickly as possible. brevity and with security guarantees.
