Institutional meetings of the Free Trade Zone delegate with the president of the APBC and the rector of the UCA

Continuing with the line of work that has been set to strengthen collaboration between administrations, Fran González continues his round of visits to the main entities of the province

 

The Free Trade Zone delegate, Fran González, continues his round of visits to the main institutions and entities of the province within the framework of the established line of work of laying the foundations to strengthen and strengthen collaboration between administrations to benefit and enhance the socioeconomic fabric of the province.

This morning, González met with the president of the Port Authority of the Bay of Cádiz (APBC), Teófila Martínez, in a first contact between these two sister institutions, closely linked historically by their activity and that have always shared the interest in boosting the economic and social development of the environment. As is known, the Port of the Bay of Cádiz has a dock within the fiscal area, with two docks dedicated to commercial merchandise traffic.

Subsequently, the Free Trade Zone delegate met with the rector of the University of Cádiz, Francisco Piniella, also in his first meeting since Fran González took office. Both González and Piniella have agreed that the organizations they represent have to work together to bring Cadiz talent to light and lay the foundations for the Cádiz of the future, taking into account that technological knowledge and innovation are drivers of job creation in the province.
