Representatives of the Consortium and the City Council met this morning with businessmen from the business center to inform them of the changes in management
Zona Franca received the communication from the City Council on October 31 and then it was communicated to the businessmen prior to today's meeting.
Representatives of the Free Trade Zone and the City Council, among whom were the Director of Organization and HR of the fiscal institution, Pilar González, and the Councilor for Development of the Cádiz Consistory, Carlos Paradas, as well as technicians from both administrations, met this morning with businessmen from the Cádiz Casino business center to inform them in detail about the changes that will occur in its management, which will pass into the hands of the City Council as of November 24.
Today's meeting was preceded by a letter sent by ZF to the users of the business center that was sent on November 4, once the City Council officially communicated to Zona Franca on October 31 the decision that the Consortium would leave management.
Following this official communication from the City Council, owner of the property, the Cádiz Free Trade Zone, which has developed and managed the business center since its opening, ends on November 24 its connection with the Cádiz Casino, which includes the provision of services that had been provided to the businessmen located there.
The Cádiz Institution has shown maximum loyalty and disposition at all times, first expressing its desire for continuity and then collaborating so that this change does not affect the activity of the businessmen installed in the building.
The Free Trade Zone delegate, Victoria Rodríguez, has repeatedly expressed the Consortium's willingness and the importance of maintaining the business center so as to “not harm business owners or eliminate jobs,” even more so taking into account that its good functioning made continuity indisputable.
