The job placement company has opted to lease these lands through the public offer OP 5/19, which includes a special bonus of 80% on the rental rate
The plot, with a total area of 2,238.60 m2, will be used to create a parking lot with capacity for about 100 parking spaces
Zona Franca advances with this measure in the plan to facilitate parking in the city, creating deterrent parking pockets along with lowering rates in the Carranza, Glorieta and Loreto underground parking lots.
The Cádiz Free Trade Zone has today awarded the Insertion company NUFAN S.L., whose corporate purpose is the social and labor insertion of people in social exclusion, the lease of the plot of the outdoor complex where Súper Cádiz was located and where a surface parking lot with capacity for approximately 100 cars will be developed.
NUFAN opted for the aforementioned space located on Magallanes Street, with an area of 2,238.60 m2, through the public offer opened by the Consortium for “the leasing of surfaces and properties eligible for the special 80% bonus” (OP 5/19), intended for associations declared of public utility or social interest.
Being an insertion company and meeting the requirements of the specifications, NUFAN will be in charge of managing this space as a deterrent parking pool and which is included in the plan launched by Zona Franca to contribute to providing solutions to the parking shortage in the city and specifically in the industrial zone. In any case, this measure is giving use to a plot that in the short term was disused but with provisional use not incompatible with the arrival of interested companies.
The plot offers a response to a demand for parking spaces in the area near the Carranza Stadium and the neighborhoods of Loreto and La Laguna, with a high residential concentration and serious parking deficit, which intensifies in the summer months with the influx of tourists. At the same time, five jobs will be created for people experiencing social exclusion. In this way, the company's workforce will increase to a total of 40 people, of which 80% belong to the indicated group.
The plan of measures to facilitate parking, presented a few months ago by delegate Victoria Rodríguez, also contemplates lower rates and promotions in the underground parking spaces that the Zona Franca has in the city - Loreto, Glorieta and Carranza -, the result of a market study carried out by the technicians of the company Aparcamientos Zona Franca on payment spaces in the city.
