The Consortium delegate, Victoria Rodríguez, and the CEO of the company Avericum, specialized in this type of therapy, have made a technical visit to the new facilities
The health center will occupy a total area of 1,425 m2 and an investment of 4.1 million euros
Rodríguez appreciates the company's commitment to the Zona Franca facilities and highlights the launch in the city of a new activity with a high technological and innovative nature.
A hemodialysis center will be installed in the premises that Zona Franca has in the gallery of the Carranza building. This has been confirmed by the State delegate in the Free Zone, Victoria Rodríguez, and the CEO of the company. Avericum, Javier Artiles, who visited premises 4 and 5 this morning where the center will be located and which is currently in the final phase of its adaptation works.
This company, which has been awarded the hemodialysis service by the Andalusian Health Service (SAS), has already opted for Zona Franca when choosing a location for another center with the same characteristics in Chiclana, in premises of the Iro building, property of the Consortium.
The opening of this hemodialysis center in Cádiz, which will serve a maximum of 140 patients, has an investment of 4.1 million euros, will create 33 direct jobs and about 20 more indirect jobs, and will serve to provide comprehensive service to chronic patients and their families, dependent on Social Security.
Victoria Rodríguez has thanked Javier Artiles for the trust placed once again in Zona Franca when choosing a location for this medical center that will provide an important service, quality and a high technological and innovative level, which will be a stimulus for this entire area of the city.
The Free Zone delegate has been very satisfied because the marketing work being carried out in the Free Zone is bearing good results and in the case of Tribuna the occupancy levels are already 80%, with powerful companies and this "only strengthens us to continue working with the firm commitment to attract more companies and continue creating attractive spaces for investment and the creation of entrepreneurship centers in the city."
In this sense, Victoria Rodríguez explained that they have opted to strengthen the marketing of all Consorcio equipment in the province and that occupancy has grown by more than 20% in just six months.
Javier Artiles, for his part, has had words of gratitude to Zona Franca and has explained that he expects this equipment to begin providing service in a month. Artiles has pointed out that the hemodialysis center will also have a daycare center, a school for patients and families, and physical recovery and physiotherapy rooms, so that in addition to the jobs in the main healthcare activity, an offer of high-quality accessory jobs will be generated, for training and personalized treatment of patients according to their particular therapies.
According to the CEO, the center is designed in a very special way, nothing like a pure healthcare service, but rather a place where patients can find not only care for their renal therapy, but also a meeting place between patients, family members, specialist doctors and other medical personnel with a vision beyond what the disease itself entails, and can be accompanied by a cultural and even sports environment, which these centers generally lack, with state-of-the-art electromedical facilities.
