Free Trade Zone and Women Entrepreneurs (AMEP) seek collaboration formulas to enhance the role of women in the company

The State delegate, Victoria Rodríguez, receives the president of the association, Gema García, to whom she has conveyed her special awareness of the entity and what it represents

The State delegate in the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, Victoria Rodríguez, received this morning the president of the Association of Business and Professional Women of the province of Cádiz (AMEP), Gema García.

During the meeting, Victoria Rodríguez was especially sensitive to the work of the association and conveyed to the person in charge her willingness to seek collaboration formulas to promote the presence of women in the business community, especially in positions of responsibility.

In this sense, Victoria Rodríguez has expressed to Gema García that it could be interesting to carry out a diagnosis of the employment situation of women in the productive fabric of the province, in order to find solutions that promote a general improvement in the conditions of female employment.

The delegate has also explained that little by little, as is happening in society in general, women are gaining ground in the Zona Franca workforce and now make up almost half of the total, with a growing trend in positions of greater responsibility.

Zona Franca and AMEP, which in recent years have already maintained avenues of collaboration aimed at promoting economic activity and job creation among women, have decided to study lines of joint work.
