Victoria Rodríguez and Patricia Cavada have discussed the current situation of the project and have agreed to find the best alternative for the development of the industrial estate.
The State delegate in the Cádiz Free Trade Zone, Victoria Rodríguez, and the mayor of San Fernando, Patricia Cavada, held a meeting this morning in which they discussed the development of the Janer Shooting Range and agreed to jointly seek the best alternative to bring the project to a successful conclusion.
Rodríguez and Cavada, together with technicians from both administrations, have carried out a detailed review of everything that has happened since Zona Franca purchased the land from the Ministry of Defense in 2013.
After analyzing the details, both have shown themselves willing to find the most suitable formula for the commercial park to become a reality and benefit the socioeconomic fabric not only of San Fernando but of the entire Bay.
Work is already underway on a new Public Offer in accordance with market needs, for which a prior study will be carried out to more specifically define the content of the bases.
It must be remembered that Zona Franca issued a Public Offer for the sale of the land in April so that a specialized developer, with technical and economic solvency and experience in tertiary real estate developments, would assume the development of this Commercial Park. A company was presented but its conditions did not meet the requirements, so it became a Permanent Public Offer.
This land has a surface area of 65,501 m2 and, according to urban planning determinations, is planned to house economic activities that could include a commercial park for medium-sized areas around a central parking core; an office building compatible with hotel use; and other industrial-tertiary uses.
