Torrot presents its industrial project in Cádiz Free Zone

A large group of clients, businessmen and majority and minority investors learned about the Consortium's activity and toured the plant that will house its activity in the Tax Precinct.

Yesterday morning, a large group of majority and minority investors of Torrot, along with clients and businessmen, visited the Free Zone of Cádiz and the plant that will house the aforementioned electric mobility company in the Interior Precinct of the Free Zone and which is in the process of adaptation.

The visit began in the Heracles Building of the Free Trade Zone, where they were received by the Technical Director of the Consortium, Ignacio Díaz Rodríguez-Valdés, who excused the absence of the Special State Delegate, Alfonso Pozuelo, who for scheduling reasons could not be present at the event.

The Technical Director welcomed all those present, who received information about the Free Trade Zone activity, and gave way to the interventions of those responsible for the firm who explained in detail the characteristics of the new plant that Torrot will occupy.

Subsequently, the attendees moved to the warehouse, which has an area of 5,000 m2, where the assembly line of the electric motorcycle called velocipede will be located, and which is located in the Tax Precinct of the Free Trade Zone, in the area that formerly belonged to Altadis.

The forecasts of Torrot, whose plant is in the process of adaptation, a work awarded by the Consortium at the beginning of this month, indicate that the implementation of the assembly line in Cádiz will take place between September and October, with the aim of producing the first hundred units of the velocipede before the end of the year.

The arrival of Torrot to the Free Trade Zone materializes months of work and contacts between both parties to consolidate a new investment in Cádiz, through the new productive spaces that were generated as a result of the expansion of the tax area.
