The Heracles Building of the Interior Campus of the Free Zone has been the scene today of the celebration of the 193th anniversary of the creation of the National Police, an act whose opening was carried out by the provincial chief commissioner of the National Corps of the Police, Antonio Ramírez Rodríguez, was chaired by the subdelegate of the Government in Cádiz, Agustín Muñoz, and to which numerous civil authorities and representatives of State security forces and bodies, among others.
This is the second year in which this commemoration is celebrated at the facilities of the Free Zone of Cádiz. The National Police Corps, whose background dates back to 1824 when Fernando VII founded the General Police of the Kingdom to the need to provide Spanish cities with a modern security structure, celebrates on January 13 the anniversary of its creation and this time it is 193 years old.
