Both entities consider creating an institutional commission to channel joint actions in the city
The City of Cádiz and the Free Zone consider creating an institutional commission to channel the work and the actions that both entities develop jointly in the city. This has been established by the mayor of Cádiz, José María González and the special delegate of the State in the Free Zone, Alfonso Pozuelo, during the first institutional visit that the latter has made to the City Council. This meeting also attended the Councilor for Urban Planning, Martín Vila and the Councilor for Economy and Finance, David Navarro.
The visit of the new special delegate of Zona Franca is framed in the intention of both institutions to maintain a fluid relationship since, in the words of both representatives, there are many issues on which both institutions have powers, so it is necessary to give organicity to relations.
With this objective, the established relations with other entities such as the Institutional Commission with Port Authority have been taken as a reference. In this way, in the commission they propose to create a city council and zone, a calendar of meetings will be established in which in addition to political representatives they are also technical so that they can plan and monitor the agreements.
