The Consortium registers a strong demand for this type of equipment aimed at promoting the entrepreneurial network and facilitating the implementation of new companies.
The occupancy of the warehouses of both projects, carried out in collaboration with the Incyde Foundation and the chambers of commerce of Cádiz and Campo de Gibraltar, is 100%
The Free Trade Zone of Cádiz plans to continue carrying out actions along the lines of the business incubators built in Ubrique and Palmones (Los Barrios) and to this end encourages city councils throughout the province and chambers of commerce to repeat initiatives such as these, which have the objective of promoting the entrepreneurial network and the establishment of new companies.
Zona Franca has registered a strong demand for this type of equipment, which has had a high level of acceptance and which was carried out in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Cádiz, in the case of Ubrique, and the Chamber of Commerce of Campo de Gibraltar, in Los Barrios, the Incyde Foundation and the town councils of both municipalities.
The primary objective of these actions is to encourage the projects to be strengthened and consolidated, with each one of them staying in the nursery for a maximum of three years.
And both the Ubrique and Palmones Nurseries have already posted the full sign and, while the one in the mountain town is already at full capacity, the one in the Campo-Gibraltar municipality already has the first occupation license, which has been delayed for a few days due to issues related to the electricity supply.
The great acceptance of both initiatives by the entrepreneurial sector of the province makes the Free Trade Zone reaffirm its commitment to permanent support for the business community in general and young entrepreneurs in particular, and opens the door for other municipalities and, of course, the chambers of commerce, to take part in initiatives of this type through the mechanisms they consider appropriate, one of which could be the contribution of the land.
The Ubrique business incubator is located in the so-called Polígono de la Piel of the mountain town and was carried out with funds requested in the Feder Operational Framework 2007-2013. The total investment was 1.4 million euros, including the acquisition of the land from the Cádiz Chamber of Commerce.
Meanwhile, the 14 warehouses that make up the Palmones business incubator have involved a total investment, excluding the cost of the land, of 1,850,000 euros, also co-financed by funds requested in the Feder Operational Framework 2007-2013.
